A Gentle Kids Meditation For Big Angry Feelings
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
Angry feelings can feel big, hot, and overwhelming inside a child’s body.
This gentle meditation helps children calm their “angry volcano” and return to a place of safety and peace.
Through slow breathing and a playful volcano visualization, kids learn how to cool down strong emotions by sending calm breaths into their belly. As the volcano begins to settle, the body softens, the breath slows, and the mind becomes quiet again.
This meditation helps children understand that anger is a normal feeling—and that their breath can help them calm their body when emotions feel too big.
